...china town, which were just around the corner, and had a big feed, greeeeat food for about 1.5 dollars...
Then we went on a walk to the lake gardens, where we wanted to visit the birds park, but by the time we got there, it was all closed and all we could do was have a drink at the restaurant, which wasnt too bad either.
Spent the evening on our roof top, where there was a 'fullmoon party', but because I hadn't really slept til then I only lasted til midnight.
Sarah and me had an early start the next morning to go onto the twin towers, but when we saw the queue there, we decided we were happy enough just to take some pics from the ground. After that we headed back to meet Ben, Ed, Kate and Zoe and went to the bird park. We spent hours there admiring the colourful birds and watch the meant to be funny bird show until we were exhausted from the walking and the heat.
We went back to china town for lunch and then went for a swim at the 'olympic pool'. Great experience. Ben got kicked out for not wearing speedos but shorts. Zoe and Sarah were told off for wanting to jump from the jumping tower. Later on we were told that we were the first ones to be allowed to lie on the grass, and that only because they were sorry to tell us off again...because if you come out of the pool, you got chlorine on your skin, and if you then lie down onto the grass, you might kill it. we didn't quite get it...
Ben and me went to the twin towers again in the evening to get night shots, went for a couple of drinks and then back to the hostel (where they had finally fixed the water and I could have a shower) and I treated myself with another foot reflexology massage. Heavenly. Went straight to sleep after that, and it was the best sleep in ages!
