Best day, most beautiful place

Life: I had the best weekend in my stay here and probably found one of the most beautiful place that I've ever seen.
We hiked up to a vulcano through the dungle without any tracks or trails. When we arrived the top we had to run 12 km through the pouring rain to the next village,because it got dark. the moto drivers in that village where not willing to drive us to another village because it rained so much so we got stucked in the middle of the night in that small village. We found a hotel which was not that bad and stayed there for a night. on the next morning we found out that 2 frensh guys also got stucked in that hotel. They had a 4 wheel drive and we drove up that mountain again and it was so beautiful. I can't describe it, pictures can't capture it. It was so peaceful and you wished this would never change.
The frensh guys offered us a ride down to a bigger village and now we saw, why the modo drivers didn't what to drive us. The road was terribel. Even with a 4 wheel drive it was hard to make it and we saw some motos upside down.
We got back safely but that was an adventures weekend. It's hard to describe in words sorry. I hope the pictures will help at least a bit.

OMG! that is soooo beautiful up there. No worries, the pictures DO capture it, at least sufficiently for me to get a glimpse of the feeling you must have had being up there...
Now, my mountain hiker heart cries out loud "I wanna see mountain again, Gandalf, mountains!"
I really envy you. Hope you have more WE like this one before you.
