...THANK´S to the "Strawberryfamily" , who made it possible for me to have this experience!!!

When I have to work, my day starts at 6.15am with a good breakfast ( I have the feeling it keeps me warm during the morning =) ) Then, I leave the cabin at 7.30am, I have to walk to our little office, to sign me in and get my coat. And on some days, I can tell you, it´s a real challenge! When it snows a lot during the night and the streets aren´t groomed in the morning, it´s a real workout coming up there! Last week we had so much snow, I sank into it to my hips!!!!! ...that was crazy!!!!

After I signed me in I have to go to the rental station to get my skiequipment! Then at 8.15am we have our morning meeting! ...I´m really lucky when I have time, before the meeting, to get some fresh coffe from the lodge ( it´s STARBUCKS and it´s free !!!!!!!!!!!! ) !

Then we have to go to our lifts and get ready for the first customers, the lifts open at 9am. On most of the days we have a lot of fun together! The last day, it was so slow at the chair, so we did "Mountain Yoga" .... what a fun!!!!! ....and it kept us warm!!!!

We also have a lot of breaks, so we can go skiing! It´s so awesome!!!!

I had days here, where I worked in the pooring rain, after two hours working I was soaked!!!! But on the other side, I had days, with sunshine and a stunning scenery!!

My shift ends at 3.30pm. On Thursday, Friday and Saturday is nightskiing on the mountain, so on some days, I do this after my shift, on some days we go tubing, with some co-workers! It´s a lot of fun!!!

And the time in the cabin is so nice! I enjoy it so much! ...there is always a little fight with the fire in the woodstove and sometimes with the internet! But, you know, when the internet isn´t working, it´s annoying sometimes, but it really gives you more time for reading or other stuff!!!! ...really!!!!!!!!!!! =)

Of course I have days off too! On some days I go down to Courtenay for some shopping and the gym! But when the weather is good, I stay up on the mountain for skiing!

Next Wednesday is my last day of work up here! And on Friday I leave the island and go back to Vancouver!!!

My time in Canada is almost over and it feels really weird! Sometimes I think, that doesn´t regard me!!!!!

But I´m really looking forward to see you all again =)
